24 April 2026 – Barcelona, Spain – Day 1

A strong opening day for Act 1 of the F18 European Tour 2026 at the Barcelona International Sailing Center (BISC). The race committee managed to complete 3 back-to-back races, before deciding to send the fleet ashore as the wind was forecast to drop later in the afternoon. Two more days of racing lie ahead.

In the provisional standings, the Dutch duo Hans and Marius Van Dam lead the way with an impressive performance (2-1-1). The French teams show strong collective consistency with four boats in the top 6: Dary/Fanouvillere in 2nd, Boulogne in 4th, Bader/Peters in 5th and Erussard/Moreau (Energy Observer) in 6th. The provisional podium is completed by the Belgian duo Demesmaeker/Tas in 3rd.
